Quality Feed and Care
Customized care for your horse ranging from basic economical care to
completely pampered care for your horse and all shades in between
Basic care includes:

  • Choice of Quality 12% sweet feed with added vitamins and minerals or 10% Pelleted
    Feed fed twice a day.  We use all quality Blue Seal products!  (Please note that
    pasture boarders do not get a choice and we only offer our pelleted product)
  • Hay fed twice a day.  We feed not just two flakes of hay at each feeding, but we feed
    each horse approximately 1/2-3/4 a bale of hay a day.
  • Stalls are throughly cleaned (not picked) once a day.  New saw dust is added Daily!
  • We will add supplements of your choice (for no additional cost) provided you keep
    them in stock.  If you have pills that need to be crushed, we ask that you have them pre
    crushed.
  • Daily Turnout- We turnout everyday provided it is not storming or slippery conditions.  If
    you would like to set different turnout conditions we can do that also.  We also
    separate Mares and Geldings during turn out to provide a safer environment for the
    horses.
  • Horses will be wormed with generic wormer's on a routine basis.  You can have the
    ability to upgrade to a specific wormer for an extra fee or you can simply provide your
    own.

Extras:

Is your horse having a hoof problem and needs some extra bedding?  Is it your horses
birthday month and you would like to do something special for him/her? Is you horse just a
good boy/girl and you want to pamper them to the fullest? By request, here is our list of extras
we now offer!

  • Feeding of medicines or supplements over feed- NO CHARGE
  • Fly spray application and sun block daily - $15.00 per month
 Do you have a white horse that burns easily? This may help!
  • Holding for trimmings/shoeing- $10.00.  If you have a horse that stands for the farrier
    without any assistance, there is no charge for this, but if you have an unruly horse that
    needs someone to stand and hold him, this is for you.
  • Holding for vet- $15.00 Vet hours are not always convenient for the working adult.  We
    can help!
  • Daily Blanketing- $25.00 Note: There is no charge if you leave a blanket on and it
    stays on.  This is more for if you want it off and on every day, or switched out from a
    stable blanket/turnout blanket daily.
  • Application of Topical Medicines/Soaks- $1.50 per day Whether you are unsure of how
    to do it, or just uncomfortable with doing it this is for you.  Also if you have Soccer on
    Wednesdays, we can do it for you.
  • Sheath Cleaning/Utter Cleaning- $15.00 Everybody needs to do it, nobody likes to do
    it.
  • Extra Hay- 3.5/bale Have a true “hay burner” that needs the extra calories?  This is a
    good way to gain weight.
  • Premium hay- 5.00/bale We will save the best for you! (Alfalfa mixes available)
  • Extra Sweet Feed- $0.30/lb Need a little more fuel for your horse?  Remember, the first
    6 lbs are included in your monthly board.
  • Platform Performance Feed- $0.35/lb This is for all the athletic superstars that need
    more.
  • Platform Pleasure Feed- $0.30/lb  This is for the horse that is not in constant
    performance training, but needs more than just a 12% sweet feed
  • Platform Senior Feed- $ 0.35/lb  This is not for just older horses, but also for horses
    that have a hard time with digestion and/or have teeth problems.
  • Grooming- $5.00/day  Want your horse to shine and be pampered but don’t have the
    time?  This is for you.  You can have this anywhere from once a month to every day.
  • Premium Wood Shavings/stall cleaned 2X daily- $6.00/bag This keeps stalls cleaner
    and dryer.  Good for Thrush problems or leg injuries.
  • Extra Stall shavings/ two times day cleaning- $1.00/day Good for messy horses, or
    horses with leg injuries.  Also good if you would just like to pamper your horse.
  • Daily De wormer (Strongid C2X)-$0.70/day Good continues dewormer for most horses
    (be careful if your horse is in foal, young, or breeding).  If you horse is colicky or older
    some vets recommend this.
  • Stall Powder- $20.00/month This helps with odor and helps dry up the wet spots by
    breaking the urine down.  On our first test run we have noticed a huge difference!
