Horse Crazy? Just like helping and learning the ins
and outs of horse care? Want to show your parents
you are responsible enough to own or lease a horse?
This program may be for you!
We are starting an apprentice program to help teach
students the ins and outs of the proper way to take care of
horses. Students will be able to water, hay, sweep, help
instructors with lessons, and clean stalls for ride time on the
lesson horses. In order to be considered, students must be
able to work independently and safely and follow all rules.
Some of requirements that we will take into consideration
when selecting candidate are age, maturity, eagerness,
knowledge, and level of responsibility. Please keep in mind
that in order to earn ride time, students must complete the
tasks they are assigned in a timely matter. We are only able
to take approximately two students per day. Because we
are very concerned about the health of our horses, students
will not be able to do the following: feed grain, supplements,
or administer any medication. These items are could
negatively effect the horse if not done correctly. Because we
are concerned with the safety of our students, only the
most advanced apprentices will be allowed to turn out or
